La Cena pays for student membership fees to the San Antonio Dietetic Association.
Mentoring
La Cena provides mentors for students getting a degree in Nutrition to assist them with transferring, course work /selection, encouragement and general support.

Advising
2+2 Nutrition and Dietetics Degree Plans for University of Incarnate Word
Notes:
- Texas State University Nutrition Degree plans with Minor, Teaching Certification, and Nutritional Science Tracks are available upon request.
- Students are strongly encouraged to meet with the Project Manager for individualized advising.
- The 2+2 degree plans are designed so that students take the first two years at the community college level, and take the following two years at the university level.

The College tutoring center will provide students with tutoring to ensure academic success.
